The CRT has relocated the Village fire trailer to just west of the ICP (small shed by tennis court).
This will be its permanent position with 3 means of entry to pick up the trailer should it be needed.
Inductions will start shortly for all interested parties that wish to be updated on fire drills and the running of the ICP.
Please note that we have discontinued our P.O. Box service.
All mail for Castle Hill Community Association should be sent to:

The fire truck has now been returned to the village. Hopefully it will stay here now!
The fire truck has been removed from the village. Hopefully this is only a temporary measure. Please be aware that if a fire breaks out, you will have to manage with your own resources and those of your neighbours if available.
The committee will keep the village updated if there is any change to this status.
Easter is almost here and that means it is almost time for the Easter egg hunt in the village.
This year the chief Easter Bunny is walking the Milford Track, so please deliver Easter egg donations (individually wrapped eggs if possible please) to 19 Slalom Place (the house with the blue trees outside) on Saturday, so the deputy Easter Bunny can have everything in place for a 9am start on Easter Sunday.
All the keen egg hunters can meet on the tennis court at 9am Sunday.
There will be separate under 5 yrs, 5 – 10 yrs and over 10 yrs hunts to spread out the eggcitement!!
There will be hot cross buns and a cuppa in the hall after the chocolate craziness is finished.
If anyone is interested in forming a small group to purchase
chimney sweeping equipment for use in the village, please
let me know at and I will pass your details on to Carol Ferrier.
